# Activate Unsub access

[Unsub](https://unsub.org) access is a benefit for all institutional supporters (Member, Member+, and Partner). Unsub gives you data-driven forecasts of the true cost and value of your journal packages, to guide subscription decisions — it's used by hundreds of libraries worldwide.

To activate it, send us ([kyle@openalex.org](mailto:kyle@openalex.org)) the names and email addresses of up to 3 users at your institution (typically collections librarians). We'll create logins and send passwords.

Note: We provide online documentation and shared training videos for Unsub but do not offer direct support. If you need consulting support for additional analyses and implementation, we recommend Eric Schares ([scharesdatascience@gmail.com](mailto:scharesdatascience@gmail.com)), an Unsub super user with extensive experience making collection decisions and training other institutions.
